The usual minimum run is 14/15 determined by the minimum economic run of cloth. However, for a small premium we can produce a few as 6/7 depending on sizes required.
Whilst we produce traditional blazers in most materials, styles and fittings, our "standard" Blagattas are described as follows.
The shell material is a premium quality 265gm fibre dyed flat matt finish 70% wool and 30% cotton, viscose lined in a colour of your choice, three-button single breasted, two hip patch pockets, one left breast patch pocket plus two inner pockets and three-button cuffs.
Vents are usually omitted since they tend to spoil the drape of the stripes but exceptions can be made.
Engraved buttons can be catered for but are subject to a minimum order quantity and hence a small premium. Likewise, embroidery to the left breast when only the actual origination of a jacquard is charged for.
Blagattas are available in chest sizes from 36" to 56" in 2" increments; all in the fittings of short, regular or long. By coincidence, the sizes and fittings match those of Marks & Spenser.
Delivery times vary according to the season since the production of school blazers and summer holidays combine to form an unavoidable interruption to Blagatta production. That said, it normally takes 4/6 weeks to weave the cloth for client approval and a further 4/6 weeks for make-up.
Our regular unit price is £139 all-in. Orders are accepted on a pro forma basis and exclude carriage. |
